Walburgis, the former Saint Walpurga Church, is one of Arnhem's oldest surviving churches. The Gothic building was badly damaged during the Second World War, rebuilt afterward, and now serves mainly as a cultural venue rather than a working parish church.
Its twin towers and sober brickwork make a useful contrast with the better-known St Eusebius' Church nearby. It is worth a short detour if you are already walking through the old centre and want to see more of Arnhem's medieval fabric.
