World's Largest Mosaic Egg

In front of the Goois Museum on Kerkbrink stands a giant Easter egg covered in colourful ceramic mosaic — an art project by local schoolchildren that ended up being certified as a world record. It is essentially silly and entirely Dutch.

A quick photo stop, but a good one if you are doing the Dudok walking route, which starts nearby.

The mosaic egg sits in front of the Goois Museum and has 41,900 individual ceramic pieces. It was made by Hilversum schoolchildren over two years as a community art project and was certified by Guinness as the largest mosaic egg in the world.
