Paleis Noordeinde

Paleis Noordeinde is the working palace of the Dutch monarch, used as an office rather than a residence. The interior is not normally open to visitors, so the stop is mainly about the 17th-century facade, the palace gates, and the contrast between royal formality and the busy gallery-lined Noordeinde street around it.

It is an easy add-on while walking between the Binnenhof, the museum quarter, and the small streets west of the centre. Do not plan a long visit; a look from the street is usually enough.
