Molen Rijn en Zon is a restored corn windmill on the edge of Utrecht's old centre. Built in 1913, it stopped working after storm damage in 1949, then returned to its place on the skyline after a careful restoration in the late 1970s.
The mill is not a major museum piece, but it is a pleasing bit of Dutch urban texture, especially if you are walking north of the canals. The ground floor now has a butcher selling organic products.
