Skytjefossen is a high waterfall in Simadalen, about 12 km from the centre of Eidfjord. Its free fall is around 300 m, making it one of Norway's tallest sheer drops.
The usual approach is to drive into the valley to Tveit and walk from there. Allow about an hour and a half for the return walk, and expect a quieter outing than the more famous Vøringsfossen.
