The main building on Maja Street holds one of Poland's finest art collections, with the largest gallery of 20th-century Polish art in the country. Works are organized by artistic movement rather than chronologically, making the collection feel more like a living argument about Polish modernism than a dusty archive. There are also permanent exhibits covering decorative arts and the Polish military. Free admission on Sundays; closed Mondays.
