This graceful Renaissance church stands at the foot of the Albaicín, overlooking Plaza Nueva. Designed by Diego de Siloé in the 1530s — the same architect behind Granada's cathedral — it blends a classical portico with a brick bell tower decorated with ceramic tiles that nod to the city's Moorish past. The interior is a single nave with a fine Mudéjar-style coffered ceiling.
The small square in front, Plaza de Santa Ana, is one of the pleasanter spots in central Granada to sit with a coffee and watch the Darro River flow past. The church is still active, so check opening hours before visiting.
