Vitoria's central covered market, on the edge of the old town. The ground floor is the working market — fishmongers, butchers, cheesemongers, bakers, vegetable stalls — and the upper floor is given over to a row of small restaurants that turn the market's produce into lunch.
Morning is the time to come for the food shopping; lunchtime is the time to come for a plate at one of the restaurants upstairs. Closed Sundays.
