Centro Atlantico de Arte Moderno, usually shortened to CAAM, is Las Palmas' main modern art museum. It occupies a former Banco de Espana building in Vegueta and focuses on art links between Europe, Africa, and the Americas.
The collection and temporary exhibitions make it a useful cultural stop in the old quarter, especially if you are already visiting Casa de Colon, the cathedral, or Museo Canario nearby.
