Things to Do

Lugo's old town is compact and walkable, and virtually everything worth seeing is either on or inside the Roman wall. The wall itself is the centrepiece: walk the full two-kilometre circuit on the sentry path for views over the city and the Miño valley. The cathedral and the Provincial Museum are both free to enter and within easy walking distance of each other. The Domus do Mitreo museum and Praza do Campo round out a full day inside the walls, while the Roman bridge makes a worthwhile short walk down to the Miño.
