The Victoriahuset is a tropical greenhouse in the Bergianska botanical garden, part of Stockholm University's Frescati campus. It takes its name from the giant Victoria water lilies that float in the central pool, their round leaves growing up to two meters across.
Inside, the humid air and dense tropical vegetation feel a world away from the Swedish climate outside. The greenhouse also houses orchids, cacao trees, and other tropical species. It is a pleasant detour if you are visiting the nearby Natural History Museum or the main Bergianska gardens, which are free to enter.
