Vinterviken

Vinterviken is a waterfront recreation area west of central Stockholm, known for swimming rocks, sunset views, and its connection with Alfred Nobel's dynamite works. Old test caves and industrial traces remain around the shoreline, while the former factory building now serves as a cafe and cultural stop.

It is busiest on warm summer evenings, when locals come to swim and sit on the rocks. Bring something to sit on, since the sun-warmed stone can get uncomfortable.
