The Blackpool Tramway is both transport and attraction. Modern trams handle most everyday journeys, but heritage trams still appear on special services, giving the seafront a moving museum quality.
Use it practically: the promenade is long, and the tram saves your legs between North Pier, the Tower, Central Pier, Pleasure Beach, and South Shore. It is also the best way to watch the town slide past in one continuous strip.
