South Pier sits near Pleasure Beach and leans into the amusement side of Blackpool's identity. It is the pier for rides, arcades, and quick seaside snacks rather than elegant strolling.
It works best as part of a South Shore day with Pleasure Beach and the promenade. If North Pier is the old resort photograph, South Pier is the noisy current version.
