Blackpool Zoo is the resort's main animal attraction, set inland near Stanley Park. It has enclosures for great apes, wolves, wallabies, penguins, meerkats, and other animals, plus dinosaur-themed displays for children.
It is a useful family break from the seafront and pairs naturally with Stanley Park.
