North Pier is the oldest of Blackpool's three piers and still the most graceful. It has a gentler, more Victorian mood than the central amusement strip, with open decking, sea air, and the sense of a resort trying to remember its manners.
Walk it for the view back to the Tower and along the coast. It is less about thrills than atmosphere, which makes it a useful counterweight to the louder parts of town.
