On the UBC campus at Point Grey, holding one of the finest collections of Northwest Coast First Nations art in the world. Bill Reid's monumental cedar carving "The Raven and the First Men" alone justifies the visit. Soaring concrete-and-glass architecture by Arthur Erickson opens onto a setting of totem poles and reconstructed Haida houses overlooking the Strait of Georgia.
