Spanish Banks is a broad set of beaches west of Jericho and close to the University of British Columbia. At low tide the flats stretch far out, giving wide views across English Bay to the city and the North Shore mountains.
It is popular for beach volleyball, skimboarding, kiteboarding, dog walking, and cycling or running the waterfront paths toward UBC.
