A 1,000-acre temperate rainforest park jutting north from downtown into Burrard Inlet, surrounded by a 9km seawall path that ranks among the great urban walks in the world. First Nations totem poles at Brockton Point, the Vancouver Aquarium near the centre, sandy beaches on its western shore, and old-growth Douglas firs throughout. Walk, cycle or rollerblade the seawall — the loop takes around two hours on foot or 45 minutes by bike.
