Manzanillo's identity is the sea — beaches, big-game fishing, snorkelling and diving. The town itself has a busy central plaza, a working port, and a handful of viewpoints; the resorts are spread along the Santiago Peninsula north of the city. A couple of days of beach and water gives you the place; longer and you start to want a car for the coast outside.
