Paseo Santa Lucia is Monterrey's most successful piece of urban theatre: a landscaped canal and pedestrian route running from the Macroplaza museum district toward Parque Fundidora. It is polished, yes, but it gives the city a rare central walk where water, public art, families, and skyline all share the same space.
Walk it if you can; take the boat if the heat is winning. The route is especially good late in the day, when the light softens and Fundidora becomes the natural end point for dinner, museums, or more wandering. It is one of the clearest ways to understand modern Monterrey's civic confidence.
