Completed in 2013, this modern pier replaced an older wooden structure at the north end of Playa de los Muertos. Its central steel framework, shaped like a ship's sail, has become a symbol of Puerto Vallarta. Walk out for views across Banderas Bay, or use it as a departure point for water taxis heading south along the coast. Best at sunset, when the sail frame catches the light.
