Iglesia el Laborio is one of Leon's older churches, built in 1618 and dedicated to San Nicolas de Tolentino. It is a modest stop compared with the cathedral, but it adds depth to a walk through the city's colonial churches.
Inside are devotional statues of several saints, and the surrounding neighbourhood has a more everyday feel than the central square.
