Parque Arlen Siu commemorates Arlen Siu, the revolutionary singer killed by the Somoza dictatorship in 1975. The park is especially useful for families, with a small zoo, a strong playground, and the municipal nursery.
It is not one of Leon's grand colonial sights, but it gives children space to run around and adds a local stop outside the centre.
