The classic St. Kitts panoramic view. From this hilltop on the Dr. Kennedy Simmonds Highway, the peninsula narrows to a thin band of land with the Caribbean Sea visible on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other, the silhouette of Nevis rising across the channel beyond.
There is a small paved layby, sometimes a vendor selling cold drinks, and not much else — the view does the work. Most island tours stop here. Best in the morning when the light is on the eastern Atlantic side and the trade winds keep the hilltop cool.
