Home of the Lansing Lugnuts, a Single-A affiliate in the Oakland Athletics system. The park opened in 1996 as Oldsmobile Park, went through a stint as Cooley Law School Stadium, and is now Jackson Field. The setting is the real draw — the downtown skyline fills the view beyond the outfield wall, and the Grand River runs just behind. Tickets are cheap, the crowd is relaxed, and the between-inning promotions are entertainingly absurd. Grab a Coney dog and a local craft beer from the concourse. Games run from April through September.
