Lansing's attractions cluster around a few themes: state government history, the university campus in East Lansing, and a surprisingly strong museum corridor along Museum Drive near the Grand River. The State Capitol is the obvious starting point, but the museums and Potter Park Zoo make for a full day without leaving the riverfront area.
