The waterfront pier at the foot of Jackson Street is the main gathering point on Sandusky Bay — the Jet Express ferry to Put-in-Bay leaves from here, and the surrounding redeveloped waterfront has restaurants, a small green, and benches looking across the water to Cedar Point.
Free, busy at sunset, and a good orientation point. The Battery Park Marina next door is the busiest pleasure-boat dock on the south shore of Lake Erie.
