Sandusky Speedway

A half-mile paved oval that has been hosting stock-car racing since 1948 — one of the oldest continuously operating short tracks in the United States. Friday-night racing through the summer brings classes from late-model stock cars to four-cylinder enduros, all on a small intimate oval where you can see the whole circuit from any seat.

Cheap tickets, good seating, and an unbeatable lake-shore short-track atmosphere. The annual Sandusky Speedweek in October is the headline event.
