The Path to Freedom Sculpture stands near the Sandusky waterfront and remembers the city's role on the Underground Railroad. The life-size figures of a man, woman, and child are formed from iron chain and shown moving toward Lake Erie and freedom across the water.
It is a short stop, but a meaningful one when walking the harbour area, especially paired with Sandusky's maritime history and island ferries.
