Pa'rus Trail is Zion's relaxed front door, a paved path following the Virgin River from the visitor centre toward Canyon Junction. It is open to bikes, pedestrians, and leashed dogs, which makes it unusually flexible for a national park trail.
The views are better than the easy grade suggests. The Watchman rises above the river, cottonwoods shade parts of the route, and sunset often paints the cliffs while the main canyon crowds are already heading out.
