Queets Corridor

Remote Olympic National Park rain-forest corridor along the Queets River.

The Queets Corridor is one of Olympic National Park's quieter rain-forest approaches, following the Queets River through huge trees, wet understory, and a sense of distance from the park's busier loops. It is less convenient than Hoh or Quinault, which is exactly why some travelers prefer it.

Conditions matter here: road washouts, river levels, and trail closures can change plans. Check park information before driving in, and be prepared for mud and slow travel. The reward is a wilder-feeling corner of the Olympic rain forest.
