The Quinault Rain Forest anchors the park's southwest side, where giant trees, lake views, and quieter trails make a gentler alternative to the Hoh. It is still deeply wet, green, and impressive.
Base yourself around Lake Quinault if you want rainforest without as much driving from the southern coast. Short trails and scenic loops make this area friendly for slower travellers.
