Most of what visitors want to see in Córdoba is within an easy walk of Plaza San Martín. The colonial centre, Nueva Córdoba, Güemes, and Sarmiento Park are all manageable on foot.
For longer hops, the city bus network is extensive but uses a stored-value card (RedBus) that you can buy at kiosks. Buses are cheap and run frequently into the small hours on the main routes. The metropolitan train system serves the outer suburbs.
Taxis and remises (private cars with drivers) are abundant and inexpensive — the latter usually safer at night and easier for first-timers. Uber and Cabify operate normally. Avoid hailing unmarked taxis after dark.
