Things to Do

Córdoba's old town is a remarkably intact Jesuit colonial core wrapped around the Plaza San Martín, with churches, university buildings, and museums clustered within easy walking distance. The Manzana Jesuítica — the Jesuit Block — is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a half day spent walking between its buildings and the Cabildo gives a sense of how the city grew. Beyond the colonial centre, Nueva Córdoba is the student district with bars, parks, and contemporary art; the Güemes neighbourhood is the artisan and antique quarter; and Sarmiento Park to the south is the city's lung.
