Mercado Norte

The old covered food market on Calle Oncativo, a working market of butchers, fishmongers, cheese counters, and stalls selling dulce de leche by the kilo. Built in 1885 and renovated several times since, the high-ceilinged hall is still where many Cordobeses do their weekend shopping.

A good place to assemble a picnic — cured meats, regional cheeses, olives, bread, and a bottle of Mendoza wine. Best in the morning.
