The CCBB Belo Horizonte is the local branch of the Banco do Brasil's national network of cultural centres, in another of the restored palaces on Praça da Liberdade. The schedule covers contemporary art, photography, design, and the occasional major touring exhibition — usually with strong production values, always with free admission.
The building includes a cinema (also free) that runs daily screenings of classic and arthouse films, and a small cafe on the ground floor. One of the best free things to do in the city.
