A small, well-kept Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery on the side of King Tom hill above the harbour. It contains the graves of soldiers, sailors, and merchant seamen who died at sea or in service in Sierra Leone during the two world wars — British, Sierra Leonean, Indian, and Caribbean dead lie side by side here.
The setting is striking: white headstones in neat rows, with the harbour spread out below and the city behind. The cemetery is kept tidy by a permanent gardener and is open during daylight hours.
