Punic and Roman artefacts on Byrsa Hill

Perched on Byrsa Hill next to the cathedral in Carthage, this museum holds Roman, Punic, and Arab collections. Ceramics, mosaics, sculptures, and jewellery trace the layers of civilisation that passed through this spot. The nearby archaeological park is included in a combined ticket. Open 8:30 to 17:30 in winter, until 19:00 in summer. Closed Mondays.
