Medersa Bachia

Medersa Bachia is an 18th-century Quranic school in the Medina of Tunis, recognised as a historic monument since the early 20th century. Its most visible feature for many visitors is the public fountain outside the entrance.

Access can be limited, and non-Muslims may not be allowed inside. Even as an exterior stop, it adds a useful layer to a walk through the medina's religious schools, souks, and mosques.
