Quanzhou is best known for maritime trade, temples, and World Heritage sites, but its Science and Technology Museum adds a hands-on modern counterpoint. Exhibits are aimed largely at families and school groups, with interactive displays rather than rare artifacts.
For most visitors it is a secondary stop, but it can be useful on a rainy day or when travelling with children. It should be treated as a local science museum, not as one of Quanzhou's headline historic sights.
