Zhongshan Studio City

Film-studio attraction near Cuiheng using recreated streets to tell Sun Yat-sen's revolutionary story

Zhongshan Studio City is part backlot, part patriotic history park, and part day-out attraction. Its recreated Chinese, European, American, and Asian streets have been used for filming, but the main local angle is Sun Yat-sen: the complex sits near his former residence and folds revolutionary-era scenes into the visitor route.

This is not subtle heritage, and that can make it useful. If you are already visiting Cuiheng and the Sun Yat-sen sites, the studio city shows how Zhongshan packages that history for domestic tourism: theatrical, photogenic, and more interested in atmosphere than strict reconstruction.
