The Sun Yat-sen Former Residence at Cuiheng Village is the essential stop: the preserved farmhouse where he was born sits within a larger museum complex that covers his life and the Republican revolution he led. The Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall in the city centre is a large ceremonial building housing historical exhibits. Wugui Mountain on the eastern side of the city offers hiking trails through forested hills and is one of the few green escapes within easy reach.
