Shaanxi Art Museum is a smaller art museum in central Xi'an, separate from the Shaanxi Province Art Museum. Its collection focuses mainly on painting and calligraphy.
It is most useful if you are already near the city centre and want a quieter art stop between the Bell Tower, Muslim Quarter, and nearby temples.
