Xi'an Museum is smaller and calmer than the famous Shaanxi History Museum, but still has a strong collection on the city's long history. Exhibits cover archaeology, city planning, and everyday objects from the eras when Chang'an was one of the great capitals of Asia. It sits beside the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, so the two are easy to visit together.
