Khushbagh is a walled garden cemetery on the west bank of the Bhagirathi. It holds the graves of Nawab Alivardi Khan, Siraj ud-Daulah, and members of their family, making it one of the most emotionally important sites in Murshidabad's nawab story.
The mood is quieter than the palace complex. Trees, walls, graves, and a small mosque create a reflective stop after the busier monuments, especially if you know the story of Siraj ud-Daulah's defeat and death after Plassey.
