The largest mosque in Southeast Asia, designed by Indonesian architect Frederic Silaban. Constructed using marble with open spaces and huge windows that keep the interior cool in the tropical heat. The mosque has five floors and can hold up to 250,000 worshippers. Guided tours are available for a small donation, but you must wear modest clothing and no shorts are allowed.
