The Botchan Gizmo Clock stands beside Dogo Onsen Station, where it opens up with moving figures on the hour and half-hour. It was built in 1994 to mark a century since Dogo Onsen Honkan's main building, and it is an easy little ritual before or after a soak in the famous bathhouse.
