Camayan is a quieter, more attractive beach than White Rock — a longer crescent of fine grey sand on the southern end of the freeport, backed by the forested hills of the former US Navy magazine area. The water is clean and shallow, suited to swimming.
The Camayan Beach Resort runs the access road and charges an entrance fee. Beyond the resort, the wider beach is open and uncrowded on weekdays. The resort restaurant has a decent lunch buffet on weekends.
