The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of Saint George in the Bab Touma quarter, smaller and less central than the Mariamite Cathedral but with a long history. The interior is rich with carved wooden iconostasis, gilded icons and silver lamps in the Byzantine style.
The cathedral is in active parish use and open to visitors outside services. Easily combined with a walk through the Christian quarter — it sits a few minutes east of the Mariamite Cathedral.
